Welcome This is a classic 1950s era skirt suit in a fine, smooth sage green wool fabric with moss green wool trim detailing.. The Skirt is fitted, slightly A line, unlined, and has a metal side zipper. The waist band has a section that is a matching green yet different wool fabric. The matching jacket is fully lined, has pretty mother of pearl buttons, a rounded collar with two tone fabric and hand stitched details. The front placket is a strip of moss green contrasting wool fabric that comes to a point and also has hand stitched details. Therer are two slit angled pockets with moss green jetting. The hem line is rounded at the front. Label is Arthur Jay. The condition is very well taken care of. Fits like a modern medium, approx size 10. Excellent vintage condition. MEASUREMENTS Measurements are taken with the item laying flat. Double the chest, waist, and hip where applicable. Length is measured from the top of the shoulders to the hem. Sleeves are measured from the top of the shoulder to the wrist. Compare these measurements with a similar item you own to make sure you get the best fit.
