Excellent condition, they were pulled out of my personal house that's over a century old. The pieces are believed to be original to the house. They're all in excellent shape, especially considering the age. The set consists of 4x 19" towel rods, a hand towel ring and two hooks. They've been left unpolished for the new owner to determine their fate. The house started it's build in 1921, addressed as 1921 in what was a unclaimed area of land purchased by the Mary Hughey in Gregg County of East Texas. Her home away from home, it was designed to be very extravagant for the era. Said extravagance can be seen even in this choice of hardware; the entire house was/is filled with such treasures. The house was nearly 3000 sq ft, had wrap around porches, over 50 windows, 15 interior doors to various rooms and even had an indoor plumbed bathroom. The wealth of Mary Hughey brought in lots of opportunity so a small village was formed around the house which became to be known as Winterfield Village. Overtime a nearby town started to grow, to what has now become a city, sometime decades after the build, said city swallowed the village, the city being known as Longview. I personally currently own the house; the bathroom hardware appears to be from the origin build as they were only found in the original bathroom and not the later 1960's renovated bathrooms. They're made out of solid brass. Most of the house has been renovated through the decades but some of the features have been lucky enough to last the ages. We considered keeping this bathroom hardware but being that the house had been so heavily modified in every other way, all originality had been lost so we felt it was best to salvage them and send them off to a home where they'll be a better fit.
