It was rusty on the top when we bought this mower. NOTE: We used primer and Cub Cadet yellow to spray paint the deck to stop the rust. We are NOT professional painters. You can see the finish still shows roughness, etc. The blades need to be replaced and there is no deck belt ... the buyer will need to buy a new one. We could not find that the deck was rusted through. One of the hangers was rewelded as shown. We put a new spindle shaft on the left side because the threads were bad on the old one.
