US MARINE CORPS - 7th MARINE REGIMENT Challenge Coin with velvet case. This is a great looking 7th Marine Regiment challenge coin. Coin is about 1 9/16" in diameter. This coin has a 7th Marine Regiment insignia on front in raised lettering and the Marine Corps logo on the reverse. Coin is contained in an acrylic air tight holder and displayed in an attractive black velvet presentation box which will make this a very impressive gift. The 7th Marine Regiment is an infantry regiment of the United States Marine Corps based at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twenty Nine Palms, California. Nicknamed the "Magnificent Seventh", they fall under the command of the 1st Marine Division and the I Marine Expeditionary Force. Active 1917 ? 19, 1933 ? 34; 1941 ? 47; 1950 ? present Usmc license 23125
