Item description

This a classic metal bank in the shape of a cash register. When money is inserted the counter keeps track of how much is in the bank. It is in very nice used condition, except that the back had been pried open perhaps to remove the contents. See photo of back. It is such a nice display item I don't think that should dissuade you from displaying it. It has been wiped off, but it needs to be cleaned and I do not know what to use without damaging the finish. It is 6 1/4 inches tall, 4 1/2 inches wide and 5 1/4 inches deed. There is a tiny paint worn spot at the corners. I recall this bank from my childhood and the money is supposed to be removed by pushing in the panel at the bottom front. The panel locks once any money is deposited and then will release the lock once the bank has $10 in it and every $10 increment thereafter. It holds $50. The bottom has an area that looks like it sat in a liquid, or something was spilled, and it tipped the edge on the right side and settled on the bottom. The photo looks worse than it actually is. I cannot find any dents, except what can be seen around the escape hatch made on the back. We must collect 6% Pennsylvania Sales Tax at checkout. Thanks for stopping by!
