Item description

Tile is in good condition as shown in photos. It looks like a ceramic tile, but I believe it's made of resin, but I'm not sure. It weighs about 10 oz. Hardware for hanging on the wall is embedded in the back. This very famous design, one of the most reproduced poster in the world, is the beginning of advertising as we know it. Designed by Theophile Steinlen in 1896 for what is perhaps the first ?Cabaret? establishment, located in Paris, it announces a tour (?tournee? in French) to other cities (?prochainement"=coming soon) of Le Chat Noir's troupe of cabaret entertainers. Rodolphe Sallis is the name of the impresario. Please review photos for details as photos are of actual item you will receive. Please email me with any questions before bidding. If you're dissatisfied with this item in any way, you can return it in the same condition in which you received it within 30 days for a refund. Buyer pays return shipping. SHIPPING will be for USA only. Any global shipping buyer will need to pay import and other charges. Thanks for looking.
