When measuring your wrist size be sure to add enough length to include 2 -3 fingers between your wrist and your bracelet. You will want the extra room for your fingers to facilitate easier removal. The clasps snap together and will break away when pulled firmly, releasing the bracelet from your wrist. Except #50 chain, these only come in even numbers of links. #35 chain has a 3/8" pitch per link. 2 links = 3/4". Until you get the hang of it, unsnapping the clasp may require a bit of effort or technique. When finesse fails, we've found brute force to be best. When all else fails, a key or flat screwdriver inserted between the links of the clasp and twist, don't pry. This will provide adequate leverage to unsnap the clasp. Can be cleaned with any mild detergent and soft to medium brush. No harsh chemicals or solvents required. After cleaning your chain , apply a drop of baby oil, mineral spirits or 3-in-1 oil to each of the joints. We prefer to use baby oil. This can also be applied with a Q-tip. Any excess removed with a paper towel or tissue. Not meant to be worn as a tennis or shower bracelet. But Hey ! If you are buying it you can wear it how you like.
