Box set containing the entire fifth season of the popular sci-fi show. 'Inside the X Files' is a behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of the show. In 'Unusual Suspects', three lone gunmen join Mulder to foil a government experiment. 'Redux' and 'Redux 2' feature Mulder attempting to cure Scully's cancer, while in 'Detour', Mulder and Scully investigate a small boy's claim that he was attacked by an invisible being. 'Christmas Carol' sees Scully becoming intrigued by a mysterious suicide, and in 'The Post Modern Prometheus', the duo uncover a dangerous genetic experiment. In 'Emily', Scully attempts to adopt a young girl, while 'Kitsunegari' sees the agents up against a criminal with mind-controlling abilities. In 'Schizogeny', trees become the main suspects in a series of murders, and 'Bunghoney' finds Scully investigating a cursed doll after a witchcraft-related killing. In 'Kill Switch', a co-inventor of the Internet is murdered, and 'Bad Blood' sees the agents making a connection between the slaughter of some cattle and Texan vampires. In 'Patient X', a group of alien abductees are burned alive, while 'The Red and the Black' sees Mulder and Scully unearthing more evidence of a planned alien colonisation of the planet. In 'Travellers', Mulder witnesses a species-altering experiment, and 'Mind's Eye' features a blind woman as the prime suspect in a murder case, leading the team to believe that she can see through a killer's eyes. In 'All Souls', a young girl seems to have died from having her eyes burned out of their sockets, while 'The Pine Bluff Variant' sees Mulder going undercover to infiltrate a militia group. In 'Folie a Deux', Mulder meets an employee who believes his boss to be a hideous monster, and 'The End' sees a 12-year-old clairvoyant offering a final solution to the mysteries of the X Files.
