Item description

TOPPER TAKES A TRIP by Thorne Smith Pocket Books, 7th Printing of 1st Paperback Edition, 1945 Condition: Near Very Good The sequel to TOPPER, Smith's most famous character. Cover art by Barye Phillips. Filmed in 1938 - the book is nominally a movie tie-in, as it mentions Roland Young, the movie Topper. The book is solid with white pages - quite common for these old Pockets. There is spine edge/end wear and a spine reading crease; the covers have not--so-bad corner edge wear, some flaking and short creasing. The last page is torn at the gutter top (showing some webbing), but still the binding is firm and there are no markings.
