Condition: Used in Good Condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, fleabites, repairs or scratches. Handmade quality on the lid so it's rough in some places. Handpainted is not perfect but this adds to a homemade feel and charm. This is a delightful Three Cornered Lidded Ceramic Jar. The base has been molded and the lid has been hand built. The lid has a rougher quality than the base and it is partly unglazed. The color on the knob has been painted like the rest but is a different kind of glaze that creates interesting shapes during firing. There is a delightful motif of lemons and leaves across the entire surface, suggesting that this is a kitchen storage item. However, it would work just as well in a curio cabinet with its beautiful coloring. Yellow and tan lemons and green leaves with Blue accents and brown vines have been painted as well, creating a rich design. Used in Good Condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, fleabites, repairs or scratches. Some pock marks in the tan/yellow lemons due to bubbles in the glaze bursting during firing. Handmade quality on the lid so it's rough in some places. Handpainted is not perfect but this adds to a homemade feel and charm. This piece is not signed.
