The Vietnam Experience: 25 Volume Set by Boston Publishing Company Loved!
They will be carefully packaged and double boxed to insure safe delivery.
Description:
25 books from ?The Vietnam Experience? from Time Life Books. From the outside they all appear to be in good condition with only light fading to the spines. Tops and bottoms may be bumped. All are tightly bound. Simple examination has shown this set to be clean.
I counted 6 "letters to the Reader" from the publisher. Included is a reader survey. (see pictures).
This set does not look new (maybe a few volumes do) and they have been read and most are in very good condition. No obvious damage to the cover, no dust jackets included. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. May be very minimal identifying marks on the inside cover. Very minimal wear and tear.
"The Vietnam Experience was published as a 25-volume illustrated history of the Vietnam War. The first volume, Setting the Stage, was published in 1981, and the final volume, War in the Shadows, was published in 1988.
More than 700,000 people subscribed to the series during its run, and collectively, more than 11 million copies of the books were sold. The series was twice nominated for a Pulitzer Prize by economist John Kenneth Galbraith, who at the time was on the Pulitzer history book committee.
Every major newspaper of record praised The Vietnam Experience. The New York Times, calling the series ?the definitive source on the Vietnam War,? said, ?How is one to avoid recriminations about the past without looking the past in the eye? These books are the eye.? Credit Boston Publisher.
