They were published by Psi Fi Movie Press which published Files Magazines for many sci-fi/fantasy TV shows between 1985 and 1987. The Outer Limits Files do not list a publish date but came out in this time frame. There were intended to be more Outer Limits Files as the issue #4 introduction ends with the statement "more about them next issue" which was never published. The episode guide contains credits, a very detailed synopsis, comments and information, and one or two pictures for each episode. At the end of the magazine is information on other Files Magazines. In a quick search all Files Magazines found had the same ISBN: 1-55698-005-1 which is printed on issues #2 and #4.
