Grace Livingston Hill Lutz was a popular author of her day, she wrote over 100 novels and numerous stories of religious and Christian fiction. Her characters were most often young female ingénues, frequently strong Christian women or those who become so within the confines of the story. "The Finding of Jasper Holt” is about a girl surviving a train wreck with handsome young man, only to find he's a semi-outlaw. Jasper ends up becoming Mayor and literally saves a baby from an angry bull.
