The Bible, Science, and Creation/ This is an early creationist work. his 1965 book has chapters such as "The Inspiration of the Bible," "Difficulties in the Bible," "The Bible and Science," "The Bible and Life's Origins," "Evolution Versus Creation," "The Bible and Archaeology," etc.
Here are some quotations from the book:
"Further explanation of the method of inspiration is impossible and unnecessary. No miracle can or need be fully explained. How did God create the universe out of nothing? How did Jesus turn the water into wine? It is not surprising that finite man must admit he does not know. Neither does he know the precise method whereby the miracle of inspiration was accomplished." (Pg. 21)
"If the writings of Moses had been studied during past centuries, there is no doubt that many of the plaguese which swept through the world might have been arrested early in their course." (Pg. 51)
"In Genesis, God does not reveal the date of creation, nor does He choose to give specific information as to the age of our earth. Many books have been written about the six creation days, and there are many scientific ideas about the age of the earth. We shall inspect three important ways in which Christians correlate the Bible with the age of the earth and with the age of the fossils, without trying to determine which is right since we have no means of knowing." (Pg. 62-63)
