At the very least, it demonstrates why the reconstituted Allman Brothers became such an in-demand live attraction in the '90s, picking up much of the living-for-the-jam crowd that formerly gravitated to the Grateful Dead in the process.High points here include an acoustic interlude in the middle of the show, with particularly lovely unplugged versions of Blind Willie McTell's "Midnight Blues" and Greg Allman's "Melissa." The electric material also percolates most satisfyingly, in particular "Southbound," which gives everybody in the band, including harmonica player Thom Doucette, an opportunity to strut their best stuff.
