This Art Deco style pattern was created in 1986 by the designer Bernard Yot (born in 1944) for Christofle. Christofle begins the process by stamping the flatware in the chosen metal. After sandblasting, lacquer is applied in an 18-step process by hand. This tedious and careful process helps make Talisman solid and resistant. The flatware handles are coated with lacquer and then polished. The art of "Cloisinne" makes the Talisman cutlery from Christofle so elegant.
