From the buckles to the harness to the fabric to the stitching, this is well made. What really pushes this set over the top though, is all of the extras. The front attachment buckles are made from metal, while the back buckles are a heavy resin. I suppose most of the strain is on the front set so they built it accordingly. If by tactical they mean you can get your hands on your dog...it's very tactical. The collar has a built in hand hold (see photos). The leash has a built in hand hold (near the dog). The harness has a hand hold. The pouches (one for each side) attaches with a belt and double snap system. Each pouch has enough velcro on the outside surface to attach one of three US flags (all provided with the kit). The bungee which is incorporated into the leash will help slow down any sudden lunges or take offs. I have the large harness and it just fits my dog in the photo, who weighs 66 lbs. I thought I had selected medium, but apparently not! As for the harness itself, it?s awesome! Super soft and seems comfortable with adequate adjustability. The quality seems very well made. The fact that it came with so much, is a bonus. If I had any complaint, the rear buckles are plastic while the front are metal. I imagine it?s because the front is where the pulling would come from and therefore requires the heavier duty buckles vs the rear buckles. Highly recommend. Veronica S. Comes with the harness, flags that velcro to the vest, two additional small bags, a collar and a leash that doubles as a seat belt harness for the car and connects to the seat belt.
