Vintage original 27x40 in. double-sided US advance one-sheet poster from the classic 1990's Death Row-themed fantasy crime drama, THE GREEN MILE, released in 1999 by Warner Bros. and directed by Frank Darabont. Based upon the novel by Stephen King, the lives of guards on Death Row are affected by one of their charges: a black man accused of child murder and rape, yet who has a mysterious gift. The cast includes Tom Hanks, David Morse, Bonnie Hunt, Michael Clarke Duncan, James Cromwell, Michael Jeter, Graham Greene, Doug Hutchison, and Sam Rockwell. This double-sided advance one-sheet poster was issued for display inside of a light box at theaters before the film was released. The artwork was designed by Charlie LeMar and is dominated by a close shot of Death Row prison guard Paul Edgecomb (Tom Hanks) along with a smaller silhouette of him walking the infamous Green Mile with Death Row inmate John Coffey (Michael Clarke Duncan).Unrestored and rolled as originally issued, this vintage original advance one-sheet is in fine+ condition with random signs of war along the top half of the left edge with some scattered small creases from handling over time. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and the color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.
