Item description

Vintage original 8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1940s adventure romance, THE EXILE, released in 1947 by Universal Pictures and directed by Max Ophüls, in which Charles II, the King of England, finds himself in exile in Holland, where he falls in love with a beautiful farm-girl. The image depicts Charles II (Douglas Fairbanks Jr.) as he thoughtfully pens a letter while two men watch him from the background. It is in very fine- condition as shown.
