Item description

Synthpop music CD lot with 25 CDs. All of these CDs are Brand New and factory-sealed. They are all either albums or compilations. NO SINGLES or EPs. Most of these CDs were released by the great American synthpop label, A Different Drum. Others, like the Iris, Neuroticfish, and Colony 5 CDs, were sold by A Different Drum back in the day, but were released by other record labels. Wonderful music. THIS IS THE PREMIUM STUFF I HAVE. Included here in this lot are several RARE gems. See below for information on each album. Give this lot a try if you still love 80s New Wave bands like Erasure, Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, OMD, Camouflage, Red Flag, Pet Shop Boys, Information Society, The Beloved, Cause Effect, Cetu Javu, Peter Schilling, Thompson Twins, etc. See photos for details. Albums / compilations in this lot: Access Zero - Living in Transition (Cool, semi-agressive electro/synthpop music) Wave in Head - The Voice in Me (Really good vocals, mid-tempo songs mostly) Wave in Head - You (Really good vocals, mid-tempo songs mostly) Virtual Server - Setup (Virtual Server is a DJ RAM project with international guest vocalists from synthpop bands. This album features the vocalists of IRIS, Rename, Psyche, Echo Image, Colony 5, Color Theory, !distain, and Wave in Head. Basically, some of the best synthpop vocalists.) Pristina - Stars and Sirens (A chill out project by Joey Belville of The Echoing Green with guest female vocalists.) Midnight Resistance - Remote (One of the best albums in this list. Midnight Resistance's debut is full of thick, cool synthpop sounds, with solid vocals. I like every song on here.) Neuroticfish - "A Greater Good" History 1998-2008 (Neuroticfish experiments with elements of Synth-Pop, Trance, Industrial and EBM to create their own blend of electronic music. At times they remind me of Depeche Mode, but with their own style. This compilations features many of their best hits.) Syrian - Alien Nation (A futurepop and trance album that offers a diverse and energetic listening experience. The album is known for its catchy melodies, sugary synthesizers, and futuristic sounds that create a sense of excitement and euphoria. Marian Gold of Alphaville is a guest vocalist on one of the songs!) IRIS - Hydra (IRIS is one of the best underground synthpop bands, with a very strong discography and fan base. Great vocals. Cool synth. Doesn't get better than this.) Kiethevez - Non-Binary (Swedish synthpop band was formed in 1991. They were one of the best bands keeping synthpop alive in the 1990s. This was their comeback album, with the amazing track, "One World for the Next," but the whole album is good.) Cosmicity - Escape Pod for Two (Crisp, fun synthpop with a sense of humor) Cosmicity - Resynthesized (Crisp, fun synthpop with a sense of humor) Neuropa - Born (Fun, catchy synthpop from Australia that will remind you of Erasure) Neuropa - The Blitz (Fun, catchy synthpop from Australia that will remind you of Erasure) Colony 5 - Fixed (Colony 5 has one of the best vocalists on this list, with very cool synth sounds. Reminds me of the best synthpop of Depeche Mode's career.) Blue October UK - Walk Amongst the Living (Another band that will remind you of Erasure, especially the vocals.) Raindancer - Audio (Very fast-paced, cool synthpop. The vocals are cool and unique.) Monolithic - Dividing Asunder (Features soaring vocals and thoughtful lyrics that can evoke deep contemplation or get you ready for a night out dancing. Atmospheric and resonant music.) Alien Skin - The Unquiet Grave (The music is characterized by melancholic melodies, ethereal vocals, and dark, brooding instrumentals that create a sense of introspection and emotional depth. It's a great listen if you're into gothic-tinged electronic music with a touch of mystery.) Nevarakka - Soft (Features one of my all time favorite synthpop songs, "Desire." Great song. This is a trance and electronic album that offers a light and uplifting vibe. The music is characterized by upbeat tempos, catchy melodies, and smooth, flowing rhythms that create a sense of euphoria and relaxation. Opium - Too Many Miles Between Us (This is beautiful and moody synthpop with a world-class vocalist. I think this is the first album from this list that I bought for my own collection.) The Echoing Green - In Scarlet and Vile (One of the gems of this lot. Very rare limited edition release of The Echoing Green's best album. American electronic/synthpop band founded in 1992 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This album is darker than most of this band's work, but still has some Christian themes. I love it!) The Echoing Green - The Winter of Our Discontent (Probably my second-favorite album by this excellent band.) The Echoing Green - Songs of Innocence and Experience: Hope and Science (A double album re-release of some of the bands earliest work. Excellent.) The Echoing Green - The Evergreen Collection 1994-2001 (Compilation of some of the bands standout tracks.) Check out my other synthpop auctions, including many very rare, out of print, limited edition, import, or other difficult to find items. If there's enough interest, I may bring out more premium synthpop albums I have in storage and sell another lot of the best of A Different Drum. THE FINE PRINT: I will ship the item within 1 business day of receiving payment. I am willing to combine shipment for a discount if you buy multiple items from me. For example with CDs, each additional CD will have a shipping and handling cost of $1.00, as long as they are paid for at the same time. So for example, if you win 10 CDs from me, you would pay the full shipping cost on the first CD, and $9 more to cover the shipping and handling for the other CDs. Yes, I know that's not the exact postage that it would take to actually send the CDs to you, but keep in mind that these are shipping AND HANDLING costs which include the cost of the packaging, time and travel costs, etc. Also notice that it's much cheaper shipping than if you bought the CDs elsewhere. HOWEVER, IF YOU WIN 15 OR MORE CD AUCTIONS in a 7 day period, and wait for me to invoice you, I will only charge you the exact shipping cost that it costs me to send you the CDs. If you win more than 1 of my sales, I will send you an invoice that shows the combined shipping discount after you've finished bidding. If you win more than 3 CDs from me then they'll ship by Media Mail instead of 1st Class because of weight limitations of 1st Class mail. For multiple disc DVD sets, the additional shipping charge is a little more than with CDs, and for books it's even a little bit more. The reason for this is because of the increased weight. Payment is expected within 7 days of the end of the auction.
