You are buying 1 SweetGum Tree in a 1 qt. pot 12-18" tall. The American Sweetgum with it's star shaped leaves neat compact crown and unique corky growth called wings is an attractive shade tree. It is considered both a shade tree and an ornamental tree. It's spreading canopy blocks sunlight and adds visual interest and beauty in your landscaping. It is hardy in zones 5-9, has a mature height of 60-75 feet tall and a spread of 40-50 feet. Sweetgum grow at a medium to fast rate with full sun as the ideal condition, in clay as well as sandy soil, and is moderately drought tolerant. The seeds of this tree are eaten by many species of bird from purple finches to wild turkey.
