Studio Art Portrait One Subject Colored Pencil 14x16 Inch Simple Border No Frame DESCRIPTION This is a color portrait drawn in colored Pencil. You provide a photo of the subject either by email or snail mail (we'll give you the address to send to once purchase is made) and we do the rest. (Snail mail photos will be returned with the custom portrait, please take them out of your frames before sending them, and be sure to include a sturdy cardboard sealable plastic bag to prevent them from bending or getting water damaged in the mail - we will not be responsible for photos not packaged securely when shipped to us). Your photo of the subject must be at least 3 in. tall and clean/non-blurry otherwise we can't see colors and details accurately, or match the likeness of the subject. Please make sure your photo is in decent condition and all the details you want in the final portrait are there. If you have only a head, then paste another photo of the same size onto it for neck shoulders. We cannot design parts of an image in this particular purchase. We will be adding an item to our store for completely custom made artwork which requires a special quote. Photos with alot of damage may be impossible to use or obtain likenesses. If your subject has dark skin or a dark tone, please send us the lightest photo you have, so we can see the details and reproduce them. Please Note: The better the photo, the better your portrait will turn out. If ordering for a special ocassion, we will try to finish for that event but please be sure to allow at least 30 days from payment to receive your finished piece. If located outside of the USA, please allow 60 days from payment to receive your finished piece. (Provided the shipping carrier is running on time and there are no delays) Included/Not Included: 1) One Subject: The subject can be either a person, animal, place, or thing. Portrait will be done in colored pencil. 2) Simple Drawn Border: The price of this offer also includes a Shaded Simple Drawn Border as shown in the upper two corners of the sample. If you want a customized border this will require a special quote, and should be stated before purchasing, so the price can be added to the invoice. 3) No Framing/No Matting: This offer does not include framing or matting. This is a do it yourself unframed purchase. When framing look for frames that measure 14 in x 16 in image size or larger if you want a matte also. Frames can be found at JoAnn Fabrics, Darice, Hobby Lobby, Michaels or other craft stores. Take your portrait with you and ask them for help if needed in selecting a frame. Choose a frame that does not compete with the picture. You want the frame to compliment or enhance the picture not the other way around. Dimensions: 14 in. x 16 in. image size without frame. Shipping Time: Once we receive your payment photos, it will take about 30 days or less to complete your portrait. When we are 50% done, we'll email you with a progress report and an estimated time of completion. If we cannot get your portrait done for your special day, we will snail mail you an attractive Gift Certificate to present to the recipient to state that they will be receiving a Custom Portrait from you within a specified time limit. If we are running very close to your special day and can make delivery for it, we will custom gift wrap your portrait so it will be gift ready as soon as it arrives.
