Item description

Overseas: Please read terms of service regarding Registered Mail delivery. This is a rare, 12" test pressing metal acetate entitled, "Wild Honey". Record label: Sterling Sound, Inc. (Stereo). This is disc number 8 2277 as stamped on the back. Dated 6/7/78. There is no label on the flipside. It's not missing, it was manufactured this way. Please note that the label side states that it is side two. The record is heavy and believed to be made of metal, but uncertain. Recorded at 33 1/3 rpm. * This is not a Beach Boys recording. The artists are unknown to me. The tracks are orchestrated Funk renditions of Beach Boys songs and have a late 70's sound. The melodies are there but they do not have the Beach Boys Surf sound. I don't know anything about the origin of this record so collectors can determine it's true value through auction. There are 5 tracks on the disc. The entire album has been play graded with the following issues: 1: "Good Vibrations". There is a slight forward skip a couple of minutes in and another more noticeable one toward the end. 2: "Don't Worry Baby". Plays through without issue. 3: "I Get Around". Plays through without issue. 4: "Darlin". *Loses the Stereo mode and switches to Mono about 1/2 way in (weird). 5: "God Only Knows" (exerpt). Continues in Mono and ends with a forward skip which abruptly ends the song (again, weird). Visually, the disc appears in VG++ (very good ++) to Near Mint condition except there is a non deep scratch across the surface of the label side. It doesn't appear to be a needle scratch and I don't detect it with my finger. Payment method as stated. Shipping/Handling as stated. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
