St. Maximilian Kolbe at a Picnic in Poland ? Exclusive Restored Photo ? Catholic Art Print ? Archival Quality ? Catholic Gift
St. Maximilian Kolbe at a Picnic in PolandRestored PhotographWhat we like more than anything else about this picture is that our Saint looks so happy. He is the young, bearded man with the big smile. We don't know offhand of another picture with him smiling. It is a picnic in Poland with some of his brother religious. Two of them men in the foreground are playing chess in the woods. One of them has a slight smile as if they've perhaps shared a joke. St. Maximilian Kolbe (1894-1941) was one of the great Saints of the 20th Century. He was a Polish Franciscan priest most famous for volunteering to die in place of a stranger at the Auschwitz concentration camp. But he had many other great accomplishments, including founding a monastery in Japan and starting numerous Catholic publications. The magazine Knight of the Immaculata and the monastery in Nagasaki, Japan, are both still going. St. Kolbe worked very hard all his life and died a martyr, but it makes us happy to see he had lighthearted moments and true happiness in his life. We bring you our restored photos of the Saints so that you might possibly draw closer to them, and thus to Jesus. Blessings upon you. !!!IMPORTANT!!! THE IMAGE IS SMALLER THAN THE PAPER FOR THE SMALLER SIZES!!!!! There is a blank white margin around the paper, 1/2" for 5x7", 1.3" for 8.5x11", and 1.6" for 11x14", and 1.75" for the 13x17" and 16x20". For the poster sizes, 18x24" and 24x36", those are cropped and printed to the edge of the paper, without borders.-Archival-quality print. Printed with archival pigments designed to last for generations when kept dry and out of the direct sun. -Acid-free paper. Image is smaller than paper!!-Cardboard backer. -Enclosed in a tight-fitting, crystal clear bag -Comes with the above story of the image.
