Item description

St. Maximilian Kolbe at His Desk ? Exclusive Restored Photo ? 3 sizes ? Catholic Art Print ? Archival ? Catholic Gift St. Maximilian Kolbe at His DeskRestored PhotographSt. Maximilian Kolbe (1894-1941) was one of the great Saints of the 20th Century. He was a Polish Franciscan priest most famous for volunteering to die in place of a stranger at the Auschwitz concentration camp. But he had many other great accomplishments, including starting a magazine in 1922 called Knight of the Immaculata. This was in addition to the radio station and daily newspaper he started. He believed in Catholic media. The magazine's circulation peaked at one million. We believe this photo of our dear Saint with his super messy desk was taken at the time he was so busy with media. We love the precious image of Our Lady, "the Immaculata," as Fr. Kolbe was fond of calling her, looking down upon him as he works. Although we aren't running a million plus magazine, we are still very busy with our life, as we are sure many of you are. We offer this wonderful photo to console ourselves and perhaps you too, or a friend you know, that it is not a sin to have clutter. It is sometimes the price of being busy. You can be a super holy person and a great Saint in the Church and still have a messy desk. Be a peace!Knight of the Immaculata is still being published today in Poland, where it started. May it be that our good works extend into the future! Fifty years from now, no one will care if our desk was messy! (source: www.stmaximiliankolbechurch.com) !!!IMPORTANT!!! THE IMAGE IS SMALLER THAN THE PAPER FOR THE SMALLER SIZES!!!!! There is a blank white margin around the paper, 1/2" for 5x7", 1.3" for 8.5x11", and 1.6" for 11x14", and 1.75" for the 13x17" and 16x20". For the poster sizes, 18x24" and 24x36", those are cropped and printed to the edge of the paper, without borders.-Archival-quality print. Printed with archival pigments designed to last for generations when kept dry and out of the direct sun. -Acid-free paper. Image is smaller than paper!!-Cardboard backer. -Enclosed in a tight-fitting, crystal clear bag -Comes with the above story of the image.
