Up for sale is a Hammerhead oyster with an attached Spondylus. The Spondylus, also known as the spiny oyster, may be attached individually or in groups. The Spondylus are not actually oysters but are closer related to scallops. However, they do share characteristics with oysters, such as cementing themselves to rocks or shells, which in this case, is the Hammerhead oyster. The spondylus that comes with hammerhead may be hot glued together. They would be great in aquariums, crafts, or for collectors of the strange and unusual, or as a teaching tool.
