For sale is a single 6" WOOFER removed from a Bose 201 Series III speaker. Although Bose refers to this driver as a 6 inch woofer, the frame diameter is the standard 6.5". Part # 144132, made in July 1994. The actual DCR on my meter is 7.1 ohms, as expected for an 8-ohm "nominal impedance" system. Tested and plays great... in excellent physical/cosmetic shape too. The fabric surround feels like new! Includes the rear foam mounting gasket, and if needed, the 4 installation screws. Message me BEFORE paying if SCREWS are wanted! It appears this same part # woofer was used in the Bose 2.2 Series II speakers, and possibly other models. Best way to verify if this woofer would make a direct replacement for another Bose model is to compare the part # 144132 to the part # of buyer's old woofer, or possibly finding the speaker model's Service Manual, that typically lists all part #s.
