This biography of Charles Thomas, written by his son, tells of his Georgia boyhood, his experiences in the Civil War, his colorful career as lawyer and statesman and his service to his adopted state, Colorado, as Governor and later as U.S. Senator. The book is illustrated with 48 plates. A bent cover corner and page yellowing on the inside margins only. The jacket has tears, chipping and general wear on the edges, and is price-clipped on the front flap.
