The book is in G+ to VG condition with a VG dustjacket. This first edition book is signed by the author's brother Jimmy Stuart, to whom the book is dedicated, to Caroline Fredericks "Wag" Holdship, May 28, 1947. Ms Holdship was at the time was part of the Frontier Nursing Service in Appalachian Kentucky.
