The reason it's mostly called Silver Topaz is that it's got this really cool silvery shimmery thing going on inside the stone. It's a strongly doubly refractive stone, which means you're actually seeing two of everything reflected back out of the stone. These stones are set into cinchmounts hanging from Threaders -- essentially a variation on a bezel mounting. It allows the most show of stone for the least expense in silver.
