Item description

Title- "RC Cola tastes best!"- The ad shows Lizabeth Scott touting the benefits of RC Cola. Lizabeth Virginia Scott (1922-2015) was an American actress known for her husky voice. She was sometimes called the most beautiful face of film noir while others called her a poor manโ€™s Lauren Bacall. Of her 22 films, she was the leading lady in all but three. History- edited from Wikipedia- RC Cola, short for Royal Crown Cola, is a soft drink developed in 1905 by Claud Hatcher, a grocer in Columbus, Georgia. As a grocery wholesaler Hatcher often purchased large volumes of Coca-Cola syrup from the local company salesman. Hatcher felt that he deserved a reduced price for the syrup since he purchased such large volumes. The salesman would not budge on the cost, and Hatcher swore he would win the battle by never purchasing any more Coca-Cola. He went on to develop his own soft drink formula. Dimensions- 10 1/4 x 14 inches. Condition- Excellent. Most of the ads in my booth are from tabloid-sized magazines, measuring about 10 x 14 inches. The ads are shipped flat in rigid envelopes reinforced with cardboard inserts and, because of their large size, these ads are expensive to mail. Shipping cost in the USA and Canada is $9 US per order. The good thing is the shipping cost is per order and not per ad. The cost is the same no matter how many ads you buy, if you buy them at the same time. ?Buyers outside of North America please contact us for an exact shipping quote. All of the magazine ads I have listed are guaranteed to be 100% authentic originals, carefully removed from the original magazine.
