UP FOR SALE: Limited edition ?Bimbah the Elephant? art glass sculpture designed by Robert Henry of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and pressed by Mosser Glass Co. in Cambridge, Ohio. This version, made in October 1981, features the striking Slag Green White colorway, also called Snowy Pine. Only 988 were made, with no reruns. The piece measures approx. 5" long x 4.5+" tall x 2.625" wide at the base. Signed ?R.H.? within a four-leaf clover, as issued. Each color variation of Bimbah was limited to under 1000 units and never reissued. The mold was officially retired upon the namesake?s passing. A rare and eye-catching example of Mosser?s 1980s production and a must-have for art glass or elephant collectors. Limited Edition: In the color above 988 were made October 1981. Color description: described by the maker as ?Slag Green White? THE BIMBAH STORY: The Bimbah Elephant: The creator was Robert (Bob) Henry from Ft. Wayne, IN. His introduction sheet to dealers stated: "Bimbah is approximately 5 inches long by 5 inches high, solid glass on an oval base. It will be made in various colors, dated, and signed R.H. within the perimeter of a four-leaf clover. Each color will be made in limited quantities of less than 1000. There will be no reruns of any color. The mold will be retired from production upon the demise of the namesake."
