A RIGHT TO DIE
By Rex Stout.
New York: The Viking Press, (1964).
Book Club edition, vintage issue.
This mystery featuring Nero Wolfe, focuses on Paul Whipple, an African American client and civil rights activist, who initially debuted as a younger man, with Wolfe in TOO MANY COOKS.
A decent vintage edition in dust jacket.
Slightly rubbed to the lower shelf edges, else square, firm and about near fine in a sewn binding with polished blue linen boards with black embossed titles to the front cover and to the spine, upper page edges a lovely black, deckle page fore-edges; in a very good dust jacket with artful design by Bill English, with shelf-edge tears and with small chips to the upper and lower spine ends and corner tips, age-toning and creases to the spine panel, minor tan soil stains to the rear panel; original printed "Book Club Edition" still intact to the front inner flap, author photo by Editta Sherman to the rear flap.
The dust jacket will be placed in a clear protective, removable sleeve after photographing for this entry.
