The Good Soldier Sc'veik is a satirical novel of black humor, unfinished, by Jaroslav Ha?ek. Inspired by the character he created, first appeared in 1912, Ha?ek - in the following years - transfused the character into the work "The Good Soldier Sc'veik", which was interrupted by her death on January 3, 1923. The protagonist is a jovial, modest and naive Bohemian man who is enthusiastic about serving the Austro-Hungarian Empire during the WWI.
