MG This undated but modern origin real photo postcard and I believe an award winner from when the photo taken in 1950 and shows a scene in North Carolina USA when segregation was legal and taking place between the black and white community with echoes of the fears of slavery - you will see from the postcard of the black and white area in the public toilets .The image shows rather than tells, one of Erwitts great skills, and the viewer is left with many questions about equality and history which reverse has photographer, date, location etc unused and prestine condition
