This pattern was originated by Bing Grondahl in 1895 and became its most popular pattern. After the merger of Royal Copenhagen with Bing Grondahl in 1987, the pattern continued to be produced bearing the Royal Copenhagen trademark and using the Royal Copenhagen item numbers, although the items were otherwise identical to those produced by Bing Grondahl. This gravy boat was discontinued in 2006. Approximately 9 inches (23 cm) long, 5 inches wide and 4 inches tall. Appropriately marked with the three wavy line trademark of Bing Grondahl and the shape number 563. I have a large number of pieces in this pattern avilable, mostly marked Bing Grondahl, a few newer ones marked Royal Copenhagen. Please inquire if interested in other pieces.
