Exceedingly rare chapbook published by Samuel Wood Sons and featuring 3 full-page woodcut engravings by Alexander Anderson (the tell tale "AA" is visible in the lower right side or corner on each). No date, but similar chapbooks (same story) were published in London in 1825. Anderson is known as "America's First Illustrator". He produced woodcut engravings for books, periodicals, and newspapers.
Publisher's flexible printed blue card boards. 34 pages plus 2 pages of publisher's advertising. 5.5" x 3.5".
Very rare - could not find another listed online or in the World Catalog.
