A fast growing deciduous shade and ornamental tree, quaking aspens can grow 4-10 feet a year. Reaches up to 40 feet tall and 15 to 20 foot wide at maturity. Grows in USDA zones 2-7. Prefers full sun or partial sun and has a wide range of preferred soil conditions ranging from acidic, loamy, moist, sandy, well-drained and clay soils.
