While this is previously owned, it's in excellent condition. This has been tested and works perfectly fine. It does take three AA batteries, which are NOT included. This is one of the original toys to be released for the "Pokemon" series when it first came out in America! It is an electronic toy: flip the switch on the box inside to turn it on, then push Pikachu's paws. His cheeks will light up, his ears and mouth move, and he talks! According to the tag, this is an "I Choose You Pikachu" toy. This is no longer in production!
