Item description

Physico-Chemical Effects of Pressure by S. D. Hamann Physico-Chemical Effects of Pressure S. D. Hamann New York: Academic Press, 1957 Copyright 1957 246 pages The binding is in acceptable condition, the pages are clean but lightly tanning and the front and rear end papers are foxed. The dark green cover shows light wear. The dust jacket is faded and scuffed and has a small amount of edge wear. Acceptable. Hardcover. This book is designed to bridge the gap between physics and applied chemistry, surveying the effects of pressure in the field of physical chemistry. Most of the book is concerned with changes brought about by pressures above a hundred atmospheres, although it also includes some data at lower pressures in instances where the experimental pressure range was restricted or where the effects were unusually large. (#15)
