Item description

INTERESTING FIND AT A LOCAL ESTATE SALE!! The gentleman was an employee and collector of the Pennsylvania Railroad. There were many older items from the PRR at this estate sale such as tickets, locks, belt buckles, hats, etc. This spike looks to be a historical story of when he was hired, when he retired after 45 years! Then the last date may be when he past away as this was an estate sale that I went to shortly after 8-19-23. INTERESTING FOR SURE. Im sure more information could be found on this gentleman. I am guessing by looking at the spike that is name was P.H. Brown. Good shape with light signs of age only. Great display piece and would be fun to look him up. Location C2
