The lamp is made from an old art pottery drip glaze vase (see photos). I do not know the origin or the maker of the pottery vase (see photos). The item is marked by the maker with what looks to be conjoined initials of RAS (see photos and determine the maker or artist). The vase has been drilled to make it into a lamp (see photos). This item in total measures about 23.75 inches high to the top of the socket (18.75 inches to the top of the socket), and it measures about 7.25 inches wide at the urn (about 5.25 inches wide at the base). The item is from an estate liquidation (see photos). The item has crazing and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
