The item is made of carved wood with hand painted faux marbled decoration and gold gilt carved swan head handles. The lamp is vintage. The item is currently in working condition, but all vintage lighting should be re-wired before use (see photos). This item has an elegant Hollywood Regency style. The lamp looks like it may be French or Italian in origin (see photos). The item is from a very nice estate (see photos). The item measures in total about 31 inches high to the top where a finial would attach (19 inches high to the top of the urn) and it is about 8.5 inches wide at the handles (about 6 inches wide at the base). The item has splits to the metal cap, no finial, it has obvious paint and finish losses and it has some wear from age and use (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
