ANTIQUE OLD 1913 Patent Cook Stove Company Kerosene Glass Bottle Round Jug Cool Piece! This is an OLD Kerosene jug bottle used to fuel Kerosene stoves and lanterns. This is the kind that was MOUNTED WITH the spigot DOWN to the side of the old Stoves. This one is HEAVILY embossed on the base "PATENTED JULY 1ST, 1913 The glass is nice SUPER Clear. There are bubbles in the glass as indicative of AGE. It still has its' ORIGINAL screw on top WITH the spring attachment which is in excellent condition. It also still has its' original iron band that was used to Mount to the stove as pictured below. These kersene jugs were manufactured to store the kerosene to fuel the stoves you may have had in your home at the time. This jug measures (by itself....MINUS the top pointy spigot) is 8 1/2" Tall (from the bottom to the top of the opening) ......10" tall INCLUDING the top pointy spigot). It is 7" Wide.
