Gianni Versace and Michael Hoban knew each other. They had stores near each other, and Versace in fact loved the shape and lines of Michael's rear-zip pants. In 1991 Hoban collaborated with Versace on these "Zodiac" sequin and leather dresses and they appeared one year in the Holiday 1991 catalog. This dress which is being sold, also came with a bolero and was priced at $3000 for the set. Hoban even told me at one of the trunk shows (I was the webmaster) that the sequin work was done by the same staff. This dress is a size 3/4 and is like new. It is clean inside and out, all sequins are intact and was worn 3 times total, and just shortly for photo shoots. It originally came to me as dead stock.
