Item description

Title- “The finest orange soft drink ever made!”- the ad shows a hand holding a bottle of Nesbitt’s. History- Nesbitt's was a popular brand of orange-flavored soda pop in the United States during much of the 20th century. Nesbitt's was produced by the Nesbitt Fruit Products Company of Los Angeles, California. The company was founded in 1924, named after its founder Hugh S. Nesbitt. The Nesbitt's brand debuted in 1927. Nesbitt's began bottling Nesbitt's orange and several other flavors in the late 1930s, putting it in direct competition with established market-leader Orange Crush. Nesbitt's became the US market leader of orange soda pop during the late 1940s and 1950s, with advertisements featuring a then-unknown model named Marilyn Monroe (1946) and proclaiming itself to be the "Largest selling bottled orange drink in the world". In 1972, the company was sold to The Clorox Company, and in April 1975, the bottling operation was sold to Moxie Industries, Inc. (now Monarch Beverage) of Atlanta. Dimensions- 5 x 14 inches. Condition- Excellent. Most of the ads in my booth are from tabloid-sized magazines, measuring about 10 x 14 inches. The ads are shipped flat in rigid envelopes reinforced with cardboard inserts and, because of their large size, these ads are expensive to mail. Shipping cost in the USA and Canada is $9 US per order. The good thing is the shipping cost is per order and not per ad. The cost is the same no matter how many ads you buy, if you buy them at the same time. ?Buyers outside of North America please contact us for an exact shipping quote. All of the magazine ads I have listed are guaranteed to be 100% authentic originals, carefully removed from the original magazine.
