Item description
First a Landsknecht skull cap which is based on one drawn by Paul Dolnstein in 1502-1504 as well as similar helmets seen in the images made by Hans Burgkmair for Emperor Maximilians "Weiss Kunig" around 1514-1516 Second is a early Burgonet inspired by one in the collection of the Dutch Army Museum (Nederlands Legermuseum) with missing parts "filled in" using two burgonets in a similar style dated to the same years (1510-1530) which are preserved in Italian collections.
