This attractive display plaque turned up at a military swap meet locally and appears to be from some unsold store inventory. There is the remnant of some kind of index or price sticker on the front where the name plate would go. The wood is about 10" x 12" and the inset about 7 3/4" x 9 3/4". The artwork is on imitation marble such as has become popular for this sort of thing. Recessed hole on back for wall hanging. Nice looking, there is only a touch of wear to some of the edges of the wood. Photos were taken on a scanner, on which the entire plaque would not fit at one time. Photo 1 shows you the complete marble section, photo 2 shows you how much wood there is outside of that. It is a nice solid and heavy piece of wood. A suitable name and dedication plate can be made at any trophy shop or ordered cheaply online. The basic plaque, if you can find it, would cost twice the starting bid here and you likely would still have to pay shipping or drive some distance to get it. These always make great gifts, they can get their own sweaters, give them something memorable.
