Item description
This is a vintage 8x10 in. US double-weight matte photograph from the lavishly-mounted silent film costume drama/romance, MONSIEUR BEAUCAIRE, released in 1924 by Paramount Pictures and directed by Sidney Olcott. The film stars Rudolph Valentino as the Duke de Chartres/ Monsieur Beaucaire.
The image features a close exterior nighttime shot of the handsome Duke de Chartres (Rudolph Valentino) kissing Lady Mary (Doris Kenyon) with his arms passionately around her. Printed on double-weight stock with a matte finish, we believe this vintage photograph was printed in the late 1920's or early 1930's. It is in very fine condition with random signs of light wear in the borders.
