This is a vintage, Mid Century Leroux Liquor - Liqueur Stoneware Pitcher. The vintage crock was made by Leroux Company of Philadelphia, PA and contained a Creme de Cafe liqueur. The product line seems to have been produced during the 1960s and 1970s. I inherited the stoneware crock about 35 years ago so it likely dates to that time frame. The vintage brown crock is in good shape without breaks or cracks. The uppermost cork is labeled with the company name and loco. The spout cork is missing. The stoneware jug measures about 6.5 tall and about 4.5" wide. The decanter would make a nice accent piece for a man cave or for country decor. Please note this pitcher is empty and sold as a collectable.
